Christmas Parts - O Come All Ye Faithful

Soprano (main melody)
Alto

The tenor and bass parts may need some tweaking. Please adjust accordingly.
There is a long break at the beginning of the chorus for the bass part. I have played the melody so it acts as a guide.

Psalm & Gospel Acclaimation for Oct 28, 2007

Psalmists,
Pls note...
- first chord of the verse, is the normal intone for you to catch the note.
- you should start singing on the next note.
- apologies if the pace may not be 100% ideal
--------------------------------------------------
Psalm for Oct 28, 2007

Gospel Acclaimation for Oct 28, 2007
(it sounds quite slow...but it's deliberate because the transition between the response and verse seems more suitable at a slower pace.)

The Mission of this Blog

Why are we doing this?
Over the last week, Dan & I made a big leap and bought (my long-desired) Clavinova.
This baby is able to record what I play and upload into the computer.

Why we think this will work?
- the (+/-) 1-hour practices are insufficient to master songs.
- it's easier to get familiarized with a song when you've heard the melody.
(don't u find yourself humming to commercials jingles easily, esp when there are no lyrics!!)
- allows us to concentrate more on the lyrics and meaning of song (when we've heard the tune)
- no login is required. no downloading required. just click and listen!
- could have potential for a one-stop announcement portal too instead of flooding emails.

We welcome any constructive suggestions to improve the site...but pardon if not all will be accepted - due to the limitations of our resources. Do remember that the aim is to help the choir, not create some super-duper website.

Thanks and have a great week ahead!
